iPhone UI protoyping tools

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

uiI’ve been experimenting with a few iPhone UI prorotyping tools recently, here is the low down:

  • Omnigraffle and the ultimate iPhone template:  My favourite solution so far, Omnigraffle in general is a great program and the iPhone template nearly has everything you need to produce realistic mockups…
  • iRise and the iPhone SimDK: After much installing and searching for the correct template I gave this a go, but I found it hard to use and quite limited, maybe I didn’t spend enough time on it, but it doesn’t seem to offer a great deal. Also it is PC only….
  • The iPhone mockup tool: Nice, but fairly limited, tool for making “hand-drawn”  prototypes. (more…)
  • Mobile Marketing: Is ‘App-vertising’ the Answer?
